Programs
Little Dragons (Ages 4-6)
This program serves as an introduction to karate for younger children. The aim of the Little Dragons is to teach respect, introduce healthy exercise habits, foster cooperation, build confidence, and self-control, and to teach that learning can be fun!
Juniors (Ages 7-13)
The aim of this program is to teach respect while building character, confidence, and discipline. We focus on fitness, self-defense, and learning proper practice techniques. The habits that are developed at this age will help to prepare students for the challenges of high school and college.
Classes are divided by rank:
Junior Beginners - White through Green Belt/White Stripe
Junior Intermediates - Blue through Brown Belt/White Stripe
Junior Advanced - Candidate Black and Junior Black Belts
Adults (Ages 14 & up)
This program includes Classical Ryukyu Kempo (Okinawan pressure point techniques), Modern Arnis (Filipino stick fighting), Small Circle Jujitsu (Joint locking and throws), elements of American Kenpo, and the kicks of Tang Soo Do (Korean karate). We focus on fitness and practical self-defense. The martial arts are a great way to get in shape and to relieve the stresses of everyday life!
Black Belt Club
This is a special group of top students. Black Belt Club members may wear a black uniform and are permitted to attend special Black Belt Club Classes These sessions focus on Kata, Self-defense, Pressure Point Theory, Sparring, and Modern Arnis. All students green belt & higher are encouraged to apply!
Kempo Kids (Ages 6-16)
This special class is focused on students with high-functioning autism, Aspergers and sensory differences.
Cardio Kickboxing
This program is designed with fitness in mind. It incorporates bag work and other equipment. Classes are held in our lower training level with music to get you going!
