Ranks

Little Dragons (Ages 4-6)

The Little Dragons test every 3 months and earn special ranks developed exclusively for our youngest students. Little Dragons wear a white belt and then progress through white belt with long stripes: orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black. These ranks signify a graduation to the next level of material and are meant to allow students to develop a positive attitude towards testing (in general) as a means of "showing off" what one has learned.

Our goal with this program is to build confidence in students and to lay the foundation for success when they enter school. Students learn to work together. They learn about respect, etiquette, and self-control while learning basic martial arts techniques and skills. Students may move into the Juniors program when they demonstrate sufficient levels of interest and focus to benefit from the more rigorous Juniors program. Based on experience and ability, students who move from the Little Dragons program to the Juniors program will be awarded an appropriate rank in the Juniors program (usually orange or yellow belt).
